For partners

Targetpartners

Refer merchants, earn up to 25% of our revenue share for 24 months. One link, one referral code and a dashboard that shows every merchant you bring in real time. No fees, no quotas, payouts by the 10th of every month.

Why partner

A share of every payment, not a one-off bounty

Most referral schemes pay once and forget you. Target pays a percentage of its net revenue from every merchant you refer, every month, for two years. The more your merchants process, the higher your tier — up to 25% — and the more we invest back into your pipeline: a named manager, co-marketing and priority onboarding for your clients.

Revenue share up to 25%

Earn 10–25% of Target's net revenue from every merchant you refer, for 24 months from their first live transaction. Your tier is set by the combined volume of all your merchants, so ten small stores count as much as one large one.

Personal partner manager

From the Growth tier you get a named manager who joins your sales calls, prepares individual offers for larger merchants and answers within one business day — by e-mail, phone or a shared chat.

Co-marketing

Joint webinars, published case studies, a listing in the partner directory and a co-branded sign-up page for your clients. From the Pro tier we co-fund campaigns that bring merchants to both of us.

Sandbox & docs

Unlimited sandbox access, test cards, the full API reference, SDKs for JavaScript, Node.js, Python, PHP, Java and Kotlin/Swift and plugins for six platforms — everything you need to demo Target before a merchant signs.

Monthly payouts

Your share is calculated on the 1st and paid by the 10th of every month to an IBAN account, a card or your Target merchant balance — in EUR, USD or GBP. Minimum payout €50, no fees on our side.

Real-time partner dashboard

Every referral with its onboarding status, processed volume and your accrued commission, updated as transactions happen. Export statements to CSV or pull the same data through the partner API.

Who we work with

Five ways to work with Target

Whether you build online stores, run a platform, advise businesses or bring them customers, there is a place for you in the programme. Pick the profile closest to yours in the application form — the commission terms are the same for everyone, the support is tailored to how you work.

Developers

If you are a software or website developer and your clients are considering accepting online payments, you can refer them to Target.

You keep building; we handle onboarding, compliance and support. Every merchant you refer earns you a share of Target's revenue for 24 months, and you get the sandbox, the full API reference and a named integration engineer to lean on while you connect the checkout.

Typical partners: freelance developers, web studios, Shopify and WooCommerce specialists, no-code builders.

Platforms

If you have your own platform for online business owners, you can offer them Target as a way to accept online card payments and increase revenue.

Embed the checkout with our SDK or send merchants through a co-branded sign-up page. Their onboarding status, processed volume and your accrued share appear in the partner dashboard in real time, and the partner API lets you show the same numbers inside your own product.

Typical partners: SaaS products, marketplaces, booking systems, site builders, POS and ERP vendors.

Agents

If your customers want to grow internationally, suggest Target as an online payment option to them.

You introduce, we close. A partner manager runs the sales call with you, prepares an individual offer and keeps you informed at every step until the merchant goes live. Agents with more than ten active merchants move to Elite terms regardless of volume.

Typical partners: business consultants, accountants, incorporation and licensing agents, independent sales representatives.

E-commerce platforms

If merchants build their stores on your engine, make Target a native payment option they can switch on from the admin panel.

We already maintain plugins for Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, OpenCart, PrestaShop and Tilda, and we will build and support one for your platform under a joint roadmap. You earn on every store that goes live; your merchants get 150+ currencies, 3-D Secure 2.2 and an 88% average approval rate out of the box.

Typical partners: e-commerce engines, headless commerce vendors, storefront and theme builders.

Marketing agencies

If you run performance marketing, CRO or launch campaigns for online businesses, checkout is the last step you optimise — and the one that decides whether the traffic you bought converts.

Refer clients whose checkout underperforms: smart routing across 15+ acquirers and frictionless 3-D Secure lift approval rates, and you get the before-and-after numbers for your monthly report. Co-marketing budget is available from the Growth tier.

Typical partners: performance agencies, CRO consultancies, e-commerce growth studios, affiliate networks.

Other payment gateways with their own infrastructure and client base, or any other company that can refer potential customers to Target, are welcome too — choose “Other” as the partner type in the form and describe your model in the message.

Commission tiers

Four tiers, one rule: volume moves you up

Your tier is reviewed on the 1st of every month against the combined card volume that all your referred merchants processed in the previous month. You move up as soon as you qualify and keep the tier for at least a quarter. Revenue share is a percentage of Target's net revenue — the fees a merchant pays us minus interchange, scheme fees and acquirer costs.

Worked example

One referred store on the Business plan

Referred merchant
Online store on the Business plan — €100,000 in monthly card volume, about 2,500 transactions at 1.4% + €0.20
Target net revenue
≈ €1,500 a month after interchange, scheme fees and acquirer costs
Your share on Pro (20%)
€300 a month — €7,200 over the 24-month commission period
Ten such merchants
€1,000,000 in referred volume moves you to Elite: 25% of ≈ €15,000 is €3,750 a month, or €90,000 over 24 months

Figures are illustrative: the actual net revenue depends on the merchant's plan, card mix and share of non-EU cards. Your dashboard shows the exact calculation per merchant, per month. Plan fees are on the pricing page.

How it works

From application to first payout in four steps

01

Apply

Fill in the form below. We review your profile within one business day and send the partner agreement to sign online. No fees, no minimum commitments, no exclusivity.

02

Refer

You get a personal link, a referral code and a co-branded sign-up page. A merchant who signs up within 30 days of clicking your link is attributed to you — and so is any merchant who names your code in the application.

03

Merchants go live

We run KYC/KYB, sign the merchant agreement and open the account in 2–5 business days. You follow every step in the partner dashboard and can join the integration call if your client wants you there.

04

Get paid

From the merchant's first live transaction your share accrues on every successful payment for 24 months. Statements are issued on the 1st; the money arrives by the 10th of each month.

The deal

Earn with every payment

Your share accrues on every successful transaction of every merchant you refer — card payments, Apple Pay and Google Pay, recurring charges, payment links and invoices. There is no cap on earnings, no limit on the number of merchants, and commission already paid is never clawed back except in cases of fraud in the merchant's first 90 days.

Tell us about your business

Applications are reviewed by a person, not a script. We reply within one business day with the partner agreement, your referral link and access to the dashboard. If you are already a Target merchant, mention your merchant ID in the message and we will link the accounts.

We reply within one business day. Your details are used only to review the application — see the Privacy policy and the partner Terms and conditions.

Thank you! Your application has been received — a partner manager will contact you within one business day to sign the agreement and open your partner dashboard.

On Target's net revenue from each referred merchant: the fees the merchant pays us minus interchange, scheme fees and acquirer costs. Your tier — 10% to 25% — is applied to that amount for every calendar month during 24 months from the merchant's first live transaction. The statement in your dashboard shows the calculation per merchant, per month, down to the transaction level.

Monthly. Statements are issued on the 1st and the money arrives by the 10th to an IBAN account, a card or your Target merchant balance, in EUR, USD or GBP. The minimum payout is €50 — smaller amounts roll over to the next month. There are no fees on our side; companies invoice us and VAT is handled according to your country of registration.

Yes. Target onboards merchants registered in the UK, the EEA, Switzerland and a further 40+ countries, and every merchant goes through the same compliance review regardless of who referred them. Non-EU cards carry a +1.0% fee, which also increases your share. High-risk industries are reviewed individually — ask your partner manager before you promise anything to a client.

If a merchant is declined at compliance, nothing is charged to anyone — you simply do not earn on that referral, and it does not affect your tier. If a live merchant closes the account, your share stops with their last transaction. Commission that has already been paid is never clawed back, except in cases of fraud in the merchant's first 90 days.
