Digital wallets are enabled by default on the hosted payment page, the mobile SDKs and the API — no additional certification on the merchant side.
Wallets consistently show the highest conversion of any payment method on mobile devices: the customer confirms with Face ID and the payment is done. From today Apple Pay and Google Pay are available to all Paydex merchants at the same fees as card payments.
How to enable
- Hosted payment page: already on — nothing to do
- Plugins: update to the latest version and tick the wallets checkbox
- API: pass wallet tokens to the standard payment endpoint
- Mobile SDK: native payment sheets on iOS and Android
Merchants using their own domain for the payment page need to verify it in the dashboard once — the process takes five minutes.
